This is an excellent opportunity for a physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to make a significant impact on patients' quality of life in a collaborative outpatient setting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, or other conditions causing pain and functional impairment. - Develop and oversee comprehensive, non-surgical treatment plans, which may include physical therapy, medication management, and therapeutic injections. - Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) as needed to aid in diagnosis. - Collaborate with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care and maximize functional outcomes. - Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing pain and improving mobility. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic medical record. - **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. - **Licensure:** Active and unrestricted Florida Medical State License. - **Certification:** Board Certified. - **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in performing and interpreting relevant diagnostic procedures.
