LabCorp is seeking a **Phlebotomy Training Coordinator** to join our team at **550 17th Ave** in **Seattle, WA** *Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions that advance care. Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.* **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, additional hours when needed. **Job Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish training objectives - Evaluate new, presently existing, and proposed training methodologies, develop training materials and plans, and deliver training - Conduct training programs for the company. Track and analyze training programs by examining participants’ job performance - Monitor and report the effectiveness of training on employees during the orientation period - Administrative and clerical duties as necessary - Travel to additional sites when needed **Minimum Qualifications:** - Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P) **Preferred Qualifications:** - 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience - 1 or more years of lead or training experience, preferably within a phlebotomy or clinical training environment. **Additional Job Standards:** - In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement - Able to pass a standardized color blindness test - Flexibility to work overtime as needed - Exceptional customer service - Strong communication skills; both written and verbal - Ability to work independently or in a team environment - Comfortable working under minimal supervision - Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish - Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, motivate others, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications. - **Physical Demands:** Speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing-remaining on one’s feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping and possible casual to regular lifting of up to 30 pounds. - **Travel:** Travel required to other sites to assist onboarding and training, 5-10%.
