At Versiti, we are passionate about improving the lives of patients and helping our healthcare partners thrive. ## Position Summary Under direct supervision by department leadership, performs phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products. Delivers an excellent donor experience through warm, professional, and service-oriented interactions. Takes pride in and is committed to delivering high quality services. Works cooperatively and is a supportive member of the team/group. Contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives. In addition to these responsibilities, the Specialist, Donor plays an essential role in promoting and maintaining a collaborative and respectful team culture and contributes to a strong and engaging employee experience. Responds to customer inquiries, requests and complaints with a timely and complete response and escalates to leader when appropriate. Provides a service-centric donor experience by interacting with donors respectfully, compassionately, and professionally. - May conduct automation (Alyx and/or Trima), including recognizing and responding to automation reactions. Recruits and converts donors for automation. - Contributes to and upholds a positive team culture and employee experience by fostering teamwork, collaborating effectively, maintaining an encouraging environment, and by supporting coworkers through kind and respectful behaviors. - Maintains product integrity and ensures proper identification of all donors, performs routine maintenance on equipment, and completes department records as needed. - Observes donors for reactio…
