**Job Responsibilities** - Data entry of prescriptions and insurance adjudication. - Fill medication orders for pharmacist review. - Place daily order with drug wholesaler, facilitate pick up of medications from other pharmacies, and stock pharmacy medications and supplies. - Maintain accurate logs pertaining to cleaning, refrigerator temperatures, etc. related to USP 797. - Verify received drug shipments against invoice, and stock shelves. - Return unused medication to stock or dispose of properly per policy. - Prepare compounded products, checked by pharmacist. - Other duties as assigned. **MEDICATION HISTORY RECONCILIATION** Gathers & documents a patient's medication history to help ensure patient safety & accurate medication administration - Collect medication history by interviewing the patient, family or caregiver, reviewing charts, & calling pharmacies & physician offices - Identify errors in patient history & communicate with appropriate staff - Update database - Collect medication history for upcoming patients that are having surgery via phone calls **Education Requirements** - Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent with Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and National Accredited Certification. **Experience Requirements** - Minimum: Two (2) years of Pharmacy Technician experience **License/Certification Requirements** - Minimum: Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and National Accredited Certification
