You’ll be part of a team that is resilient and seeks fairness by listening and advocating for patients and the community. **About the Role:** As a pharmacist at Neighborhood, you’ll lead with kindness as you care for patient populations that include those who’ve had limited access to healthcare. You’ll use your training, skills, and good judgment. You’ll report to the supervising pharmacist and float between our 3 pharmacies. Essential duties include: - Provide education and counseling to patients - Consult on pharmaceutical questions with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers - Dispense prescriptions following standard operating procedures for receiving, filling, dispensing, logging and maintaining loss prevention control You will work at all three Neighborhood pharmacies – Blasdell, Mattina, and Riverway – as needed. You won’t be working weekends. We are a group of flexible and kind individuals who are open to each other’s ideas, and see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges arise. **Education, Skills, and Experience:** - Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy - Minimum 2 years of community pharmacy experience - New York State Pharmacist License with current registration - 340B experience preferred - Kindness: you treat each person with respect and compassion, valuing each person’s story - Resiliency: you see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges arise - Teamwork: you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals - Fluent in English. A second language of Spanish is preferred. **What We Offer:** Compensation: $120,000 - $135,000 annually based on a full time, 40 hour work week Benefits: You’ll have options for medical, dental, life, and supplemental insurance.
