Essential Job Functions: - Perform status checks on claims submitted to payers with no response after 45 days, including checking payer websites, contacting payers by phone, and documenting actions. - Process hard copy claims for payment, obtain EOBs for coordination of coverage, review claims for guidelines, and refer issues to management. - Maintain practice responses to communications, create/respond to RAI or spreadsheets, monitor responses, and escalate issues. - Handle special projects, resolve “unable to bill” claims, investigate reports, and monitor denials. - Perform all other duties as assigned.
