We’re looking for a *Training Manager* who’s ready to lead from the front — to set the tone, shape the team, and build a powerhouse training department from the ground up. * * * **Who You Are:** - A leader of people. You’ve managed teams before, and you know how to coach, inspire, and hold others to the highest standard. - A seasoned trainer. You’ve walked the walk. NASM certified (or equivalent), with a strong personal training background. - A business-minded operator. You understand sales, you can teach others to close, and you thrive in performance-driven environments. - A culture driver. You know how to build a high-performance culture without sacrificing high-end service. You're passionate, polished, and professional. * * * **What You’ll Do:** - **Lead the Training Department** — Oversee and develop a team of elite trainers who deliver world-class results and service. - **Drive Sales Growth** — Own the training department’s revenue goals and coach your team to consistently hit them. - **Develop Talent** — Run weekly trainings, mentor new trainers, and implement systems that elevate performance across the board. - **Enforce Standards** — Be the example. Set and uphold the standard for professionalism, client service, and results. - **Collaborate with Leadership** — Work closely with the GM and COO to grow the business, execute strategy, and create an unmatched member experience. * * * **What to Expect Early On:** Iron Culture West Orange is a brand-new facility, and like any great launch, the first few months will be hands-on and demanding. You’ll be laying the foundation — hiring, onboarding, training, selling, and building the culture from the ground up. * * * **Requirements:** - 3+ years of personal training experience (NASM preferred) - 2+ years of leadership or management experience in a fitness or performance setting - Proven track record of driving sales and coaching others to hit sales goals - Strong customer service and communication skills - Comfortable enforcing high standards and holding a team accountable - Must be available for full-time, in-person leadership role at Iron Culture West Orange **Bonus Points For:** - Experience in a luxury, high-end training environment - Background in strength and conditioning, bodybuilding, or athletic performance - Experience building training programs or systems from scratch * * * **Why This Role is Different:** This isn’t corporate.
