## Description **Job Title:** Personal Trainer **Job Purpose** - Actively sell, market, and promote Club Fit Personal training sessions and programs - Plan, organize, and implement high quality personal training sessions and programs to ensure an outstanding experience **Operations** - Market yourself on the fitness floor, perform orientations, interact with members, complete appropriate workout documentation for each member at the end of every personal training session - Follow up with clients and actively seek referrals - Evaluate member baseline data - Design exercise programs specific to client’s needs and goals while keeping member’s well-being in mind - Present opportunity for client re-evaluation - Provide adequate documentation on each client - Adhere to program procedures and Club Fit policies regarding payment, billing, medical release, etc. - If a client’s needs go beyond your scope of experience or knowledge, please refer to a medical professional or to Personal Trainer that specializes in that particular need - Be responsible for achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term client retention in line with company vision and values - Perform other duties as assigned **Department Strategy and Communication** - Read and respond to all e-mails, and other communications within a 24-hour period - Display a professional attitude, appearance and genuine hospitality - Be knowledgeable of all Club Fit programs and schedules, not limited to personal training - Demonstrate genuine care and concern for our community **Professional and Technical Knowledge** Ongoing Club Fit Training through 1huddle Learning Management System: - Bloodborne Pathogens (annually) - Emergency Response Protocol (ERP) (bi-annually) - Sexual Harassment (annually) - Cyber Security (annually) Professional Certifications - Maintain current CPR/AED Certification - Maintain current First Aid Certification - Maintain current National Personal Trainer Certification and/or Fitness related degree **Other** - Document continuing education courses attended through conferences, conventions or online **Teamwork** - Uphold the Principles of Professional conduct as you interact with members and fellow staff - Provide equal and fair treatment to all - Maintain confidentiality of all personal member information - Provide a safe environment, free from discrimination and harassment - Break down and return all equipment used during each training session **Job Requirements** - Attend department meetings and ongoing educational workshops and CEUs - Report to work in appropriate Club Fit uniform and name tag - Ability to understand and communicate both verbally and written in English - Ability to follow directions - Ability to work a flexible schedule as required by business needs **Physical Requirements** - Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and reach throughout the workday. - Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds. **Reporting Structure** - Direct Line to Fitness Director
