Through this program, Andwell provides structured respite care and support that allows caregivers time to rest, recharge, and continue providing care at home with confidence and peace of mind. As a **Dementia Respite PSS**, you’ll play a key role in the success of the GUIDE program—offering compassionate, specialized care and meaningful companionship during 4-hour respite visits designed to meet the unique needs of each participant and their family. **What You’ll Do** Provide dementia-informed caregiving, companionship, and support to clients in their homes, such as: - Engaging in meaningful activities (reading, games, conversation, walks) - Supporting personal care and hygiene - Assisting with mobility - Providing emotional support and reassurance - Supporting caregivers by offering respite through scheduled visits **What You’ll Bring** - Certified **Personal Support Specialist (PSS)** credential (required) - Experience working with individuals living with dementia - Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance - Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor - Interest in helping people live healthier, happier, and more connected lives **Come see what we do with a ride-along or job shadow!** *All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.*
