Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Southgate, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life. ## Responsibilities - Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Help with mobility, including transferring and repositioning clients safely. - Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed. - Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. - Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor. - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. - Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures. ## Requirements - Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus. - Reliable, compassionate, and patient with strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle physical tasks involved in personal care. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus. - Willingness to undergo background checks as required. ## Benefits - Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00, paid twice a month. - Opportunities for professional development. - Supportive team environment. - Flexible scheduling options. ## About the Company University Home Care Inc is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate home care services to individuals in Southgate, MI and the surrounding communities.
