Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality in-home care services to our clients in Ypsilanti, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life. ## Responsibilities - Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Support clients with mobility and transferring safely. - Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed. - Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. - Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to management. - Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals. ## Requirements - Previous experience in personal care or a similar role is an asset. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care. - Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. - Ability to pass background checks. - Must be able to travel to client homes in Ypsilanti, MI. ## Benefits - Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00, paid twice a month. - Flexible work schedule. - Supportive and caring work environment. - Opportunities for professional development and growth. ## About the Company University Home Care Inc is committed to providing exceptional in-home care services that enhance the quality of life for our clients.
