This may include duties such as: Preparing students either as soloists or ensemble members for various performances; supervising sectional rehearsals and ensembles; and preparing group(s) for participation in school performances, festivals, clinics, parades, etc. Involves knowledge along with experience of instrumental music techniques, performance practices, and the ability to develop musicianship in a classroom setting. Familiarity with instrumental music ensembles as well as different instruments and components.
