**Per Diem Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Adult Services** **Pay**: $20.20 – $21.85 per hour (based on experience) **Location**: Cape Cod, MA (multiple residential sites) Flexible Work. Meaningful Impact. Latham Centers is hiring Per Diem Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals in our Adult Services program across Cape Cod. This role offers flexible scheduling while providing essential support to adults with complex special needs in a residential and community-based setting. DSPs play a key role in ensuring individuals receive high-quality daily care, skill-building support, and safe engagement in both home and community environments. Every shift contributes directly to improving quality of life, independence, and overall well-being. **What You’ll Do** - Support individuals with daily routines and personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mealtime assistance - Prepare and serve meals in accordance with individualized dietary plans and nutritional needs - Follow established food safety procedures and maintain proper storage and sanitation standards - Administer medications during scheduled times and PRN doses in accordance with MAP protocols - Support implementation of individualized service plans (ISP), behavior plans, and PBS strategies - Assist with medical monitoring and follow all required safety procedures - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment - Document care provided, observations, and incidents using electronic health record systems - Provide transportation to medical appointments, activities, and community outings using agency vehicles - Support individuals in accessing recreational and community-based opportunities - Use approved crisis intervention techniques when needed to ensure safety - Work collaboratively across residential sites as staffing needs require **Requirements** - High School Diploma or GED required - Prior experience in human services or supporting individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required - Valid driver’s license required - Basic computer and documentation skills - Ability to safely respond to behavioral or crisis situations as needed - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team **About Latham Centers** Latham Centers provides residential, educational, and vocational services for individuals with complex special needs.
