Job Summary: As a Per Diem Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, person-centered resident experience, with responsibilities including: Key Responsibilities: Foster a welcoming, respectful, and positive atmosphere for residents and team members Collaborate with inter-departmental teams to ensure resident needs are consistently met. Develop and oversee daily assignments for Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs). Administer medications and provide resident treatments as ordered. Receive and give shift reports to ensure safe and effective care continuity. Participate in required annual training and ongoing education programs. Requirements: Education Completion of a college or technical training program in nursing. Licensure, Registration, and Certification Current and active NH or compact state license as Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Experience One or more years� experience as a charge nurse in a senior service setting preferred. Per Diem Commitment Expectations Must work a minimum of 1 full shift (or 12 hours) every 60 days. Must work a minimum of 2 holiday shift (24 hours) per calendar year. If enrolled in full-time or part-time school or work 36 or more hours per week in a full-time job outside of WSL are required to work only one holiday shift (12 hours) per calendar year. We compensate our staff with competitive salaries and many other benefits*. Hours: Per diem � flexible shifts available including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Rate: Starting at $38.00/hour, based on experience.
