About the role We are a lean, agile People Team consisting of our CHRO, a People Operations Specialist, and a Recruiter. We are looking for a pragmatic, build-focused People Advisor to design, refine, and execute the HR foundation supporting our international growth. Reporting to the CHRO, you will receive hands-on mentoring while serving as a direct partner to line managers across our commercial, technical, and operational departments. Responsibilities include: Strategic Advisory & Coaching: Act as a trusted partner to line managers, proactively coaching first-time and scaling managers through performance cycles, team dynamics and complex employee relations cases. Process Optimization & Scale: Identify operational bottlenecks in current HR workflows and build scalable, practical solutions. HR Project Ownership: Lead core initiatives to support our growth phase, including: Expanding tailored career frameworks across departments. Structuring scalable onboarding experiences for new hires. Aligning Compensation & Benefits (Total Rewards) as we expand internationally. Designing impactful Learning & Development (L&D) programs. Day-to-Day HR Operations : Manage employee relations, policy guidance, absence management, and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring compliance with Dutch labor regulations and a constant emphasis on our company culture. To be successful we believe you need: ~2+ years of HR experience within a fast-growing SaaS or tech scale-up environment, handling HR administration, policies, and employee relations. Solid working knowledge of Dutch labor law, employment regulations, and C&B structures. Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, including basic data extraction and metrics reporting. Pragmatic and solution-oriented. You prioritize practical, working solutions over overly complex theoretical HR models. High energy, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. You enjoy building from scratch and challenging the status quo. Approachable and empathetic, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams while maintaining strong professional boundaries and standing your ground when necessary.
