Our programs provide a full continuum of care for individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others navigate early recovery, build stability, and connect with community resources through lived experience, advocacy, and peer engagement. **Position Responsibilities & Opportunities** - Provide peer support services to clients in residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings - Utilize lived recovery experience to encourage hope, engagement, and retention in treatment - Facilitate peer-led groups and recovery-focused discussions - Assist clients with recovery planning, coping skills, and community reintegration - Connect clients with community resources including housing, transportation, employment, meetings, and support services - Collaborate with clinical, medical, nursing, and case management teams - Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EMR - Maintain professional boundaries and uphold Ohio peer support ethics standards - Support a safe, respectful, and recovery-oriented treatment environment ## Requirements - Current Ohio Certified Peer Recovery Supporter (CPRS) certification required - Active driver's license required - High school diploma or GED required - Minimum of 1 year of sustained personal recovery - Experience working in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or community recovery settings preferred - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders - Basic computer and documentation skills required **Preferred Experience** - Knowledge of community recovery resources in Central Ohio - Experience in detox, residential treatment, PHP, or IOP settings - Familiarity with trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing
