Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay. **Opportunity Details:** - Functions independently to complete history and physical data on patients, performs complete physical exams, and interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans. - Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient needs. - Completes physical exams to the extent of what is medically necessary in the normal course of treatment for a specific patient. - Collaborates with multi-specialty colleagues, working as an integral part of a world-class health system. - Responsible for all patient interactions within area of service. - May manage both acute and chronic conditions. - Work schedule may include evenings and weekends. - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. - Active New York State Medical License. **Wages and Benefits include:** Annual Base Salary: $236,000\* (board eligible); $241,000\* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. **The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $355,120\*\* (board eligible) and $360,620\*\* (board certified)**, which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: - Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520. - Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. - 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): - Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. - After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
