PCAs and HHAs

As a PCA or HHA with Attentive Care, you will play an important role in supporting clients and families through consistent, one-on-one care. This role is ideal for caregivers who bring empathy, reliability, and a commitment to preserving each client's dignity while supporting their daily routine and overall well-being. #IND123 ### Responsibilities - Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities and hygiene needs. - Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household tasks. - Offer companionship and emotional support during in-home care visits. - Assist with errands and transportation-related tasks when needed. - Maintain reliable, compassionate one-on-one care in clients' homes. ### Required Qualifications - Hold a New York State PCA or HHA certification. - Recent experience working under a New York State PCA or HHA certification through a licensed agency within the past 2 years. - Residence within 25 miles of the job location - Ability to lift and transfer clients averaging 150 lbs, with or without assistance, on a frequent basis - Ability to communicate effectively in English - Must be 18 years of age or older - Authorization to work in the United States - Reliable transportation ### Preferred Qualifications - Experience assisting clients with personal care and daily living tasks. - Background in senior care, including memory care or dementia care. - Reliable transportation for travel to client homes across the Capital District, including Saratoga Springs, Clifton Park, Albany, Troy, Schenectady, East Greenbush, Valatie, and Guilderland. - Availability for weekend shifts.
