PC Technician needed for our information technology services provider in Baltimore City. The PC Technician will help with wireless access point installations at a college. Three to four week contract position. The non-negotiable pay rate is $18.00 per hour. **Essential Duties:** - Securely mount wireless access points to ceilings, walls, or poles using basic hand and power tools. - Input initial settings, configure Wi-Fi names (SSIDs), and apply security passwords using deployment software. - Use network testing tools to verify signal strength, optimize coverage, and fix dead zones. - Run, diagnose, secure, and organize cabling as needed - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.Run, diagnose, secure, and organize cabling as needed **Qualifications:** - At least three months of wireless point access IT troubleshooting experience is required. - A or Network+ certification may substitute some of the experience. - Must be able to move equipment and devices campus wide. - Must have own vehicle, valid Driver's License and good driving record. - Must be able to work from 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch. - Must be able to pass an FBI background check and drug testing.
