This role partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, and managers to provide exceptional service to employees and safeguard the integrity of payroll data. **Key Responsibilities** - Process bi-weekly payrolls, ensuring employee wages, deductions, taxes, and adjustments are accurate and completed within established deadlines - Review and maintain employee payroll information, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, deductions, garnishments, direct deposits, and tax elections - Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and company policies - Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related questions, resolving issues professionally and maintaining a high level of customer service - Perform payroll reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and work with HR and Finance to resolve issues before payroll is finalized - Prepare payroll reports for Finance, HR, and leadership while assisting with internal and external audits and year-end activities, including W-2 preparation - Ensure payroll and HRIS systems are updated with accurate employee data and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy - Maintain strict confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information while adhering to company security and privacy standards **Qualifications** - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred - 3+ years of payroll processing experience - Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Rippling experience preferred) - Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, and payroll compliance - High attention to detail with exceptional analytical and organizational skills - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools - Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities - Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting payroll deadlines
