**You’re an excellent candidate for Bizzdesign because you…** - Live in the Netherlands and can commute to Utrecht (2–3 days/week) - Are available now for a fixed term contract untill March 2027 - Speak fluent English - Have at least 3 years of experience in payroll, ideally in an international environment **About the role** This role is designed to support Bizzdesign’s global payroll operations, ensuring that payroll activities are accurate, timely, compliant, and well reconciled across multiple countries. You will be part of the Global Finance Operations team and contribute to the ongoing transition and standardization of payroll processes, including the migration of payroll activities into ADP worldwide. You will combine payroll expertise with a strong understanding of accounting and compliance, helping ensure payroll runs smoothly while supporting continuous improvement initiatives at a global scale. **What will you do** - Own and support payroll processing activities across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of payroll cycles - Collect, review, and validate payroll inputs in ADP and local vendor systems - Prepare, check, and reconcile payroll calculations and outputs in line with established standards and timelines - Support salary payments, tax payments, social premiums, and off-cycle payroll adjustments - Ensure statutory obligations (taxes, social contributions, etc.) are filed and paid on time in collaboration with internal teams and external payroll providers - Prepare and review payroll-related general ledger entries, journals, and monthly reporting outputs - Support reconciliation of payroll-related balance sheet accounts (e.g. payroll liabilities, accruals, pensions, bonuses, commissions) - Partner closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth and compliant payroll operations - Act as a point of contact for employee payroll-related questions, providing clear and service-oriented support - Contribute to payroll projects such as new country onboarding, entity changes, and ADP global migration initiatives - Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, documentation, and reconciliation practices **What we are looking for** - You bring at least 3 years of payroll experience, ideally in a multi-country or international setup - You have experience with payroll systems; ADP experience is a strong plus - You understand payroll processes end-to-end, including payments, taxes, social contributions, benefits, and compliance requirements - You are comfortable working with payroll data, reconciliations, and accounting entries (GL, accruals, balance sheet) - You have strong Excel skills and enjoy working with data in a structured and analytical way - You work with a high level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail - You are able to manage deadlines effectively, especially within monthly payroll cycles - You communicate clearly and adopt a service-oriented approach when supporting employees and stakeholders - You are comfortable collaborating with international teams and external payroll vendors - Experience with payroll implementations, system migrations, or onboarding new countries is a plus - A degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field is a plus **What we offer** - A base salary complemented by variable compensation. - A premium pension plan to help you build a secure and comfortable future. - 28 vacation days to recharge, with the option to buy up to 10 extra days whenever you need more freedom and flexibility. - Hybrid working that truly works: enjoy a balance of 2–3 collaborative in-office days, with the remaining days designed for focused work from home. - Smooth commuting with an NS Business Card or mileage reimbursement.
