Responsibilities include handling a variety of cashiering activities such as processing incoming payments, managing lockbox rejects, preparing deposits, assisting with ACH payment authorizations and changes, and supporting basic account corrections. This entry-level role is key to maintaining smooth daily operations and providing reliable service to both internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately process mortgage payments, ensuring timely and correct application of funds. - Manage lockbox rejects and prepare deposits for daily banking activities. - Assist with processing ACH payment authorizations and modifications. - Support basic account corrections, including the review and adjustment of transactions as needed. - Perform routine analytical tasks such as information gathering, identifying errors, and making preliminary corrections. - Deliver professional and courteous customer service, responding to inquiries and providing clear communication to internal and external stakeholders. - Follow established policies and procedures while exercising sound judgment in daily operations. - Collaborate with multiple internal departments as needed and coordinate follow-up with external payees. Required Qualifications: - 3–5 years of experience in a related field, with a demonstrated ability to manage a variety of cashiering and payment processing tasks. - Experience handling incoming payments, preparing deposits, and resolving basic account discrepancies. - Able to perform routine analytical tasks and preliminary reviews. - Proven ability to work independently and follow established protocols. - Strong customer service skills, with clear and courteous communication.
