Schedule Details - Location: On-Site (Laguna Hills, CA) - Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM (Hours may vary depending on business needs) Duties and Responsibilities - Collect basic patient information as instructed. - Help schedule medication deliveries and refills. - Update and maintain delivery schedules. - Answer patient phone calls and direct questions to the appropriate team member. - Provide basic information about medication deliveries and supplies. - Help collect required forms and signatures. - Assist with entering medication and supply orders under supervision. - Communicate with pharmacy and nursing teams to support timely deliveries. - Report patient concerns or issues to a supervisor or clinical team members. Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous customer service or administrative experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or medical office setting. - Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. - Ability to follow company policies and safety guidelines. - Experienced with scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Typing speed of at least 45 wpm. Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with basic medical terminology. - Experience answering phones and working with patients or customers. - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of insurance processes, referrals, and prior authorizations - Strong communication skills with a patient-focused, empathetic approach - Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy - Ability to manage high-volume workloads and prioritize effectively - Dependable, adaptable, and collaborative team player - Committed to HIPAA compliance and quality standards AmeriPharma’s Mission Statement Our goal is to achieve superior clinical and economic outcomes while maintaining the utmost compassion and care for our patients.
