Additionally, we offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package designed to enhance your overall well-being. **Patient Access Representative Position Details** - Elevates the patient experience by greeting patients with a warm and welcoming attitude, demonstrating attentiveness to the needs of patients and visitors and providing assistance in a caring and professional manner. - Schedules and coordinates appointments; manages and maintains provider schedules for various services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, chiropractic, and massage. - Collects demographic and financial information from patients, obtains required signatures, and enters the data into the electronic medical record, ensuring the accurate completion of the registration process. - Operates the telephone console using a caring and professional demeanor to assist callers. - Receives orders and contacts patients to schedule the corresponding appointments. - Processes payments, sorts incoming and outgoing mail, and scans documents. - Works closely with the patient financial services team on matters related to insurance, prior authorizations, and worker's compensation claims. - Ensures referrals are addressed and completed in a timely manner. - Addresses and manages work queues within the department as assigned. **What You Offer** The successful candidate must: - Demonstrate a preference for regular interpersonal interactions, engaging face-to-face with patients, visitors, and co-workers. - Demonstrate adaptability and the consistent ability to gather timely and accurate data. - Demonstrate a high degree of commitment to customer service excellence. - Have the ability to juggle multiple tasks concurrently. - Possess the capability to rapidly grasp and comprehend new technology and computer systems, including proficiency with the electronic medical record, EPIC. - Possess the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. - Be a self-starter, take initiative, and demonstrate resourcefulness. - Have proficient human relations skills and the capability to respond calmly and efficiently in urgent and emergent situations. **Work Schedule** - Full-time, 64-80 hours per biweekly pay period - Monday-Friday; scheduled work hours vary between 7am and 5pm **What We Offer** People join Perham Health for the opportunities and stay because of the culture.
