## Overview Serves as patient facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare. Ensures patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments. Secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices. ## Responsibilities Serves as patient facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare. Secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices. ## Qualifications **Education** - H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required **Work Experience** - 1 year exp in one of the following: Required - Healthcare Revenue Cycle Required or - Clinical role Required or - Related clerical accounting/finance/retail/customer service Required - 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience Preferred - Prior Epic experience Preferred **Licenses and Certifications** - None Required - Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association Preferred or - Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred ## Business Unit : Company Name Piedmont Healthcare Corporate
