**Responsibilities/Job Duties:** - Receives, distributes, and stores products in designated, secure locations. - Processes customer orders and transactions within the Epicor software system. - Assists customers with parts inquiries, product availability, pricing, and order status. - Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped, including transaction dates, locations, and other pertinent information. - Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy and verifies accompanying documentation. - Confirms shipping details and special instructions; expedites shipments that affect customer needs or manufacturing schedules. - Coordinates inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, vendors, and customers. - Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods manually and/or using hand trucks and skids. - Resolves issues with vendors, carriers, and contractors when problems arise. - Validates, approves, and forwards invoices to the accounting department. - Maintains accurate inventory records and assists with cycle counts and inventory management activities. - Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. - Performs other related duties as assigned. **Requirements:** - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and vendors. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Good math skills and ability to accurately process orders and inventory transactions. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory/order management software. - Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. **Education and Experience:** - High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred. - Minimum of two years of related experience required. - Higher-level candidates with extensive parts sales, inventory management, or customer support experience will be considered and may be hired at a level commensurate with their experience. - Experience in parts sales, customer service, warehouse operations, inventory control, distribution, or supply chain environments is highly desirable. - Candidates with experience from automotive parts retailers or dealerships (such as AutoZone, O'Reilly Auto Parts, NAPA, or dealership parts departments) are encouraged to apply. - Candidates with industrial parts sales or distribution experience (such as Motion Industries, United Refrigeration, HVAC/R distributors, industrial supply companies, or similar organizations) are encouraged to apply. **Physical Requirements:** - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the warehouse. - Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a time. - Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools. ***Additional Information*** *The Torrance facility is expected to relocate within approximately the next 10 months. The new location will remain within an estimated 20-mile radius of the current facility, and no significant impact to commute times is anticipated*
