**Retail Store Processor** **Location:** Auburn Hills MI **Pay:** $14.73 - $17.73 per hour **Job Type:** Part-time **Schedule:** 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled **About the Role** At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals. **What You’ll Do** - Sort, tag, and price merchandise - Help track and report production numbers - Move processed merchandise to sales floor - Provide friendly, helpful service to donors - Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments - Maintain clean work and storage spaces - Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock - May make bank runs, price items, or cross train in another department **Training Provided** - Paid training on store procedures - Ongoing coaching and support from store leadership - Opportunity to build retail and customer service skills **Why Join Us** - Mission-driven work that supports programs in your community - On-the-job training - Team-oriented environment - Employee Discount, Employee Assistance Program, and more! **Retail Store Processor** **What You'll Need** **Required** - Ability to process donated merchandise - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Basic communication and teamwork skills - Basic math and computer skills - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift - Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day - High school diploma or currently pursuing - Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army **Preferred** - Previous retail or thrift store experience ***The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
