Part-Time Recreation Leader II (Enrichment)

**THIS POSITION IS ASSIGNED TO THE SENIOR CENTER** **JOB SUMMARY** With supervision, delivers programs and events directly to the public; open and close facilities; assist with planning, gathering and organizing supplies/equipment, set-up, assigning duties and take-down for programs and events; perform cursory cleanup of facility as needed; follow all City and Center policies and procedures; responsible for the care and safety of participants. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** - Knowledge of basic cash handling. - Experience in working with children. - Excellent communication skills and customer service. - Experience with public programs/event delivery and staff supervision. - Ability to obtain relevant certifications within the time period designated by supervisor. - Ability to multitask. **Education and Experience:** - Minimum age of 18 years old. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role. **Special Requirements:** - Must comply with City of Conroe direct deposit payroll policy. - Possession of a valid Texas class "C" driver's license or higher. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** The work is medium and requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
