Part-time Motor Pool Dispatcher

The **Part-time Motor Pool Dispatcher** is responsible for performing the dispatching of vehicles and radios to support Terminal activities. - Assign vehicles and radios to labor prior to shift, logging proper credentials for accountability. - Communicate with the mechanic’s shop to ensure vehicles are serviceable and sanitized. - Report communication deficiencies, damaged equipment, or unreturned radios/equipment (with the employer's complaint filed) to the Department Manager. - Ensure equipment is ready for next shift. - Support Terminal’s operations during work hours. - Occasionally drive through container yard during busy conditions. - Support the Security Department's needs for additional radios or vehicles. - Other duties as assigned. - A valid Driver’s License is required. - Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organizational skills. # Supervisory Responsibilities: No **Work environment:** - Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment. - Exposure to computer screens. - The office staff may be required to work outside on their feet 3-5 times a day several times a week, depending on the workload. - Exposed to outside weather conditions. - The noise level in the work environment is occassional. **Our Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer**
