This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assistant courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation. **Requirements** - Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is preferred - Certifications: - RMA and/or - CCMA and/or - CMA - At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven - Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
