Part-Time Life Enrichment Assistant

Linden Court is looking for a compassionate, energetic team member to join our Life Enrichment department in a unique shared role with our Therapy team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with seniors while providing hands-on support that helps residents maintain their highest level of independence and quality of life. **Primary Department:** Life Enrichment **Secondary Department:** Therapy ## Responsibilities ### Life Enrichment - Assist with planning and leading engaging activities for residents. - Encourage resident participation and social interaction. - Help prepare activity materials and decorate for special events. - Escort residents to and from activities. - Build meaningful relationships with residents while promoting their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. - Assist with documentation and other department duties as assigned. ### Therapy Support - Assist the Therapy team with transporting and transferring residents in wheelchairs. - Complete light housekeeping and laundry tasks for the therapy department. - Clean and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas. - Support therapists with daily department operations while maintaining resident safety and comfort. ## Qualifications - Compassionate, dependable, and positive attitude. - Enjoy working with older adults. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to safely assist residents with mobility following training. - Ability to lift, push, and transport wheelchairs as needed. - Previous healthcare or senior living experience is helpful but not required.
