Graduation from high school or equivalent with an additional one year experience attending animals or any combination of experience and education that provides the following: *Valid Current Driver’s License* *Physical Exam Required* ***Ability to:*** - Work with animals; - Deal effectively with the public; - Handle unpredictable animals; - Operate the following equipment: catch pole, hose, squeegee, mop, broom; - Communicate effectively with others ***Physical Requirements*** - Continuously lift and carry up to 25 pounds; - Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds; - Continuously walk and/or stand during the shift; - Climb ladders or stairs; - Frequently bend and kneel in order to pick up animals and clean pens on the ground; - Push and pull objects for instance dogs attached to a catch pole or leash; - Frequently flex upper trunk forward and at the waist and partially flexing of knees; - Reach at and below shoulder height.
