Job Skills / Requirements Stathakis is seeking a dependable Janitorial Crew Leader for a part-time, on-site position in Novi, MI. This role is ideal for someone who values cleanliness, consistency, safety, and teamwork, and who takes pride in leading efforts to maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready environment. The position is Monday-Friday from 6:00 pm - 10:00pm. The pay rate for this position is $16.50 per hour. Position Summary: The Janitorial crew lead oversees all cleaning and sanitation operations within a manufacturing plant. This role ensures the facility maintains cleanliness, safety, and production-support standards in a fast-paced, high-volume industrial environment. The position leads a team of janitorial staff, coordinates daily operations, and ensures compliance with OSHA requirements and industry expectations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, train, and lead janitorial staff Ensure cleanliness of production floors, restrooms, locker rooms, and office spaces Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and quality expectations Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment; ensure proper storage and usage per SDS guidelines Maintain documentation for inspections, incident reports, staff attendance, and supply usage Collaborate with Ops Manager and safety teams to support operational efficiency and workplace safety Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience in a lead role preferred Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard communication, and safe chemical handling Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Compensation & Benefits: $16.50 per hour Part-Time Schedule Paid Sick Days Training Provided Supportive Team Environment Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: Stathakis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, and local law.
