Together, we strive to address food insecurity and positively impact lives across the state. **Logistics & Work Environment:** This is a part-time position based at our **Upstate (Greenville) branch**, working in an office environment. The hours will between 5:30pm - 9:00pm, working 10-20 hours per week. **A Day in the Life:** # The Janitor will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing janitorial duties, including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and upkeep of conference rooms and common areas. - Empty waste bins through the offices, breakrooms, conference rooms and restrooms, replacing liners, and ensuring proper disposal. - Sanitize toilets, sink, mirrors, and fixtures; restock toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. - Cleaning floors and surfaces - Wipe down tables, counters, and chairs; dust surfaces; sweep, and mop floors. - Monitor and restock cleaning and restroom supplies and inform supervisor when inventory is low. - Follow proper procedures when handling chemicals. - Report safety issues to supervisor. - Other duties as assigned. **To Qualify for this Position, you must have:** - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Comfortable using standard cleaning tools and equipment (broom, mops, vacuums, cleaners) - Ability to work independently and follow a routine schedule. - Strong time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks. - Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs.), and perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift.
