Part Time Infant Caregiver – San Francisco, CA A loving family in San Francisco, CA 94122 is seeking a long-term, experienced babysitter to support care for their infant (3 months old when care begins in September). While one parent stays at home, this role focuses on consistent infant engagement, supporting early development, and light baby-related household tasks. Schedule: 2 days per week: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (14 hours per week base) Flexible options to extend into weekday afternoons/evenings (~6-hour shifts) Optional weekends for additional babysitting care Start Date: Week of September 14th Family Specifications: Pet-free home LGBTQ+ friendly environment Parents value long-term consistency and open communication Responsibilities: Provide attentive, safe care for a 3-month-old infant Engage the baby in age-appropriate play, floor time, and activities supporting developmental milestones Execute light household duties related to the baby (washing/sanitizing bottles, baby laundry, tidying play areas, diaper trash removal) Support age-appropriate nap schedules and healthy sleep routines Requirements: Proven professional childcare experience working specifically with infants Knowledge of infant milestones, safety, and daily care routines CPR and First Aid certified preferred Experience or background in infant development and sleep training techniques a plus Compensation: $30–$35 per hour (commensurate with experience) All candidates will be subject to a background check.
