We are currently seeking hospitality-minded Housekeepers who take pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for our residents. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, positive, and enjoy helping others, we'd love to meet you. ### What You'll Do As a Housekeeper, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment throughout our community. #### Essential Responsibilities - Clean and disinfect resident apartments, bathrooms, public restrooms, lounges, dining rooms, nursing stations, utility rooms, houses, cottages, and other assigned areas. - Remove trash and transport it to designated disposal areas. - Complete assigned tasks according to established priorities and schedules. - Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment and return it to designated storage areas. - Report maintenance concerns or needed repairs promptly. - Keep housekeeping carts and supply closets organized, clean, and well-stocked. - Help create a positive living environment through friendly and professional interactions with residents and team members. #### Additional Responsibilities - Follow all infection control and safety procedures. - Attend training and educational sessions as assigned. - Maintain resident confidentiality at all times. - Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor. ### What We're Looking For - A positive attitude and strong hospitality mindset. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Warm, respectful, and professional communication skills. - Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel, retirement community, healthcare, or similar setting is preferred, but not required. - Valid driver's license preferred. - Ability to understand, follow, and communicate instructions in English. ### Physical Requirements - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day. - Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, stretch, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday. - Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds independently. - Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. - Ability to operate housekeeping equipment, including vacuums. - Comfortable working around residents and in various indoor environments. ### Requirements Employment is contingent upon successful completion of: - Criminal background check - Drug screening - Reference verification WhiteStone is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
