Comfort Keepers is now hiring for a part-time home health aide in the Rockford area! Both morning and afternoon shifts available. More hours available if interested. The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20/hour for CNAs. After 5 months of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase to $20/hour upon certification. **Responsibilities:** - Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc. - Meal planning, cooking and baking - Conversation and companionship - Interactive Caregiving - Errands and transportation - Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living - Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene - Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment - Assistance with medication - Dementia or Alzheimer’s care - End of life care - Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed - Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares **Qualifications:** - At least 21 years of age - Reliable transportation, personal vehicle required throughout your work day - Driver's License - 3 years of driving experience - Clean driving record - Proof of Auto Insurance with your name listed as authorized driver - High School Diploma or GED - State and Federal background check and fingerprinting - Help both male and female clients with personal cares - Lift 50 pounds safely - Work history that shows excellent attendance - Work history that show job retention - Strong work ethic - Ability to work independently - Positive work references - Compassionate and caring demeanor - Professional image - Excellent written and verbal communication skills **Benefits:** - Weekly Paychecks.
