Part Time Food Service Supervisor

Job Purpose: - The Part Time Food Service Supervisor at Wiley University is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food service department, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. - Monitor food preparation and serving techniques to ensure quality and consistency. - Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the food service area. - Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance. - Address customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues promptly. - Assist in the planning and execution of special events or catering services. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. - Prepare reports and maintain records related to food service operations. Required Education: - High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. - Proven track record of managing a team in a fast-paced food service setting. - Experience with inventory management and food safety regulations.
