That's where YOU come in! 🎯 Your Impact As an After School Instructor, you'll be the highlight of students' days! You'll lead hands-on classes in subjects you're passionate about, from bubbling science experiments to creative art projects, from culinary adventures to chess strategies. You'll teach classes like: - Science experiments that spark curiosity - Culinary adventures that teach life skills - Hip-Hop classes that inspire self-expression - Specialty classes: Art, Dinosaurs, Inventions, Chess, Robotics and more! ✨ What You'll Do - Teach engaging classes to groups of 20 students (K-8th grade) - Lead hands-on activities that bring learning to life - Create a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environment - Follow our proven lesson plans (we've done the hard work for you!) - Drive to different school sites with provided materials - Communicate professionally with our supportive internal team - Organize safe dismissal and leave classrooms clean - Most importantly: HAVE FUN and inspire kids! 👤 Our Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is: - Enthusiastic: Your energy is contagious and kids gravitate toward you - Reliable: You show up on time and kids can count on you - Organized: You can manage materials and classroom activities smoothly - Flexible: You adapt to different environments and student needs - Empathetic: You connect with kids and understand their perspectives - Professional: You communicate well and represent our mission 📍 Location & Schedule - Serving: Imperial Beach (San Diego County) - Hours Vary (Part-Time): Up to 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 2-6 PM - **Minimum availability: 3-4 days per week** - Start date: August 2026, with onboarding beforehand.
