This role focuses on empowering parents and caregivers of youth with mental health needs through peer support, education, and connection to resources. • Provide peer‑to‑peer support and guidance to parents/caregivers based on shared lived experience • Help families navigate systems such as schools, mental health services, and community resources • Facilitate parent and caregiver support groups • Participate in outreach, trainings, and community collaborations • Support families in building confidence, advocacy skills, and self‑determination • Maintain professional documentation and reporting as required by program standards • Collaborate with PIN staff and community partners to ensure coordinated, family‑centered support * * * ### **Schedule & Flexibility:** • Flexible, community‑based schedule • Hours may vary week to week based on family and program needs • Includes a mix of daytime, evening, and occasional weekend hours • Designed to meet families where they are—not limited to a traditional 9–5 schedule * * * ### **What You Bring:** • **Required:** Lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a youth with mental health needs • **Required:** Residency in Southeast Massachusetts • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team • Passion for supporting families and strengthening communities • Comfort engaging with diverse families and systems * * * ### **Why This Role Matters:** As a Parent Coordinator, you will help families feel supported, understood, and empowered while navigating complex systems.
