With our unique activity program, abundant amenities, and outstanding nightly entertainment, your family, friends, and co-workers are guaranteed to be engaged, energized, and enthusiastic! **PURPOSE OF JOB**: Preform Painter activities for all Woodloch Facilities. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following… - Assist with Painting and Projects as assigned by Department Managers and Supervisors - Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, and priming as needed - Apply paint, stain and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment - Perform routine maintenance painting and touch-ups to keep up with Woodloch's standards - Repair minor drywall damage, including holes, cracks, and seams - Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling and disposal of materials - Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met - Maintain the high Woodloch Standards of Hospitality, Cleanliness and Quality. - Daily Coordination of Activities with other maintenance groups and other Woodloch departments. - Wall covering repairs and installation - Establish and maintain inventory of materials and paint. Documenting paint source/ supplier and color template - Keep accurate records of work orders, hours worked and materials for billing purposes. - Assist other Maintenance Group or Departments as necessary - Other Duties may be assigned as needed **ESSNETIAL QUALITIES AND SKILLS** - Assertive but pleasant, helpful personality. - Above average trade specific skills - Including but not limited to: Painting - Excellent Communication Skills – both verbal and written. - Excellent People Skills. - Have a positive “can do” attitude. - Ability to Give and Receive clear Direction and Instructions. - Use common sense. - Previous experience in painting/maintenance preferred - Knowledge of painting tools, materials, and techniques - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship - Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in various conditions **SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:** Must be able to work all shifts and have a flexible schedule **QUALIFICATIONS:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
