**Job description:** Compass Palliative Care, a leading California-based palliative care provider, seeks outstanding Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants with experience and interest in palliative and pain management. Our practice provides palliative and pain management appointments for California-based patients. Our practice provides palliative and pain management services in the ALF and SNF settings in the **Cheyenne area.** **We are pleased to offer FLEXIBLE DAYS and HOURS** The practitioner will be assigned a specific patient load for which they will be responsible. Our program is run by experienced and board-certified physicians who take pride in providing training and in-service education to their staff. They believe in the advancement of their staff as well as creating the best possible outcomes for the patients they serve. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** - Assess patients in an ALF/SNF environment - Provide palliative and pain management to treat the patient best - Perform pain management procedures as needed - Define and document patient diagnoses - Prescribing and refilling medications - Patient and family education and management - Notate findings and treatment course in patient charts, including follow-up notes - Actively participates in departmental activities to improve training methods and achieve company goals **Requirements:** - Must be licensed as an NP or PA in Wyoming - Must have an active DEA license **Job Type:** Contract **Work Location:** On the road
