Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist – Education & Therapy Services Location: Hampshire Contract: Permanent Hours: Part-Time / Full-Time (39 weeks per year) Salary: £39,862 - £47,181 per annum (FTE) | Equivalent to NHS Band 6 (Pro Rata for 39 weeks) Our client, a highly successful and award-winning Specialist Multi Academy Trust, is seeking an experienced Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in Hampshire. This exciting opportunity involves supporting children and young people aged 4-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across a number of specialist education settings. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people with ASC and SEMH needs. Develop and deliver specialist, outcome-focused therapy programmes that support pupils' functional independence and wellbeing. Establish and enhance occupational therapy provision across the Trust's educational settings. Embed therapeutic strategies within the curriculum and wider school environment. Deliver training and professional development programmes to staff members. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, families, and other professionals to provide holistic support. Provide clinical leadership and contribute to the continued development of therapy services. Requirements: HCPC registered Occupational Therapist. Membership with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT). Experience working with children and young people with ASC and/or SEMH needs. Strong understanding of evidence-based, functional, and outcome-focused practice. Experience delivering training and working within multidisciplinary teams.
