Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Child & Family Therapy Services Location: Buckinghamshire Contract: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered for the Right Candidate) Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Child & Family Therapy Services team. This role involves supporting babies, children and young people with developmental delays, neurodiversity and neurodisabilities, helping them achieve their full potential through tailored therapeutic intervention and family-centred care. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions for babies, children and young people. Support children with a range of neurodevelopmental needs, including sensory processing, regulation, play, upper limb function, feeding, sleep and access to learning. Work collaboratively with families, carers, schools and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes. Develop individualised therapy plans that promote participation, independence and everyday functioning. Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions and care planning. Promote a child and family-centred approach in all aspects of practice. Requirements: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Strong paediatric occupational therapy experience. Ability to build positive and effective relationships with children, young people and families. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences. Strong written communication and documentation skills. Interest in developing skills within sensory processing, early intervention, play, regulation, attention and upper limb interventions.
