PACS Imaging Coordinator

## Job Summary and Responsibilities As our PACS Imaging Coordinator (Cardiac Informaticist), you will be responsible for all aspects of data workflow, from implementation to archiving, related to both inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures in Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology. You will be the central figure in managing and optimizing our cardiac imaging data systems.Every day, you will apply your knowledge of IT systems by troubleshooting, updating, and maintaining IT equipment and services within the cardiology department. You will lead the implementation and day-to-day operation of the Cardiac Picture Archiving and Communication System (CPACS), McKesson Hemodynamic Monitoring System, Powerscribe support for Cardiac CT, Dragon support, and other related systems. This includes ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of these systems and coordinating closely with the IT department to guarantee the quality and integrity of the CPACS system.To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong background in IT systems and cardiology workflows, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a meticulous approach to data management and system integrity. Your ability to lead complex system implementations, provide ongoing operational support, and effectively collaborate with both clinical and IT teams will be essential in optimizing our cardiac imaging data. - Maintain accuracy of patient data (data integrity) within the CPACS, McKesson or other systems - Import and export studies as needed - Maintenance of system in conjunction with CPACS Administrators - Provide support for structured reporting - Provide data as needed or requested from appropriate systems - Coordinate with ancillary departments to resolve functional issues ## Job Requirements Required - Associates Other or higher in health related field Minimum of 5 years of imaging experience and - Applications/super user experience - None, upon hire ## Where You’ll Work CommonSpirit Memorial is an award-winning, not-for-profit, faith-based health care organization dedicated to the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
