Martin Bros. is seeking dependable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to provide professional and accurate delivery service to our customers. Delivery Drivers are ambassadors of Martin Bros. and play a crucial role in representing our brand through safe driving practices, accurate product delivery and providing legendary customer service. **Key Responsibilities** **Delivery & Customer Service** - Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers. - Stack, scan, and transport products safely - Place product in designated temperature-controlled areas (cooler, freezer, dry storage, etc.). - Issue credits and handle returns as directed - Perform customer service functions including collections when required. - Communicate with supervisor, manager or Transportation office any necessary information in a timely manner. **Schedule & Hours** - Delivery routes typically start between 2:00 – 4:00 AM; some routes may begin earlier or later depending on location. - Drivers can expect to work 10–12-hour shifts, averaging 50–55 hours per week. - Routes are primarily day routes.Monday - Friday; Home daily. - Class A CDL with a good driving record is required. **Professional Representation** - Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner. - Maintain professional conduct with customers, the public, and coworkers. - Follow company procedures, policies, and uniform requirements. **Safe Operation & Driving Standards** - Safely operate assigned tractor/trailer and obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws. - Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. - Evaluate delivery sites for potential safety hazards. - Practice Smith System driving principles and understand the use of onboard cameras. - Maintain a driving record within Martin Bros. insurance guidelines. - Maintain ELD logs in compliance with DOT regulations. **Some benefits & perks:** - No weekends - Home daily - Excellent pay - average total compensation $80,000 - $100,000/year - Paid time off after 90 days - 401K - Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - Medical, Dental and Vision insurance within 31 days of hire ## Requirements **Skills and Requirements:** - Valid Class A CDL with good driving record - Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain) - 21+ years of age - Understanding of FMCSA rules and regulations - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Enjoy working with the public and serving a variety of customers - This is a physical job - ability to safely lift cases and use a handcart to deliver products up/down ramp - Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, DOT drug screen and DOT physical upon job offer
