The Overnight Clinical Support Specialist is responsible for providing overnight supervision and support of residents at 5 Door Recovery and providing thorough communication with the treatment team. Services delivered must be consistent with state and federal regulations, the established care delivery model, and the general operating philosophy and agency values. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team that makes a real difference in the lives of others! **Starting pay is $21.15 per hour, with a cost differential for hours worked on the weekends, commensurate with experience. This is a 12-hour per week position on Sunday's from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am.** **Benefits:** - Health - Dental - Vision - Life, AD&D, Long Term Disability - Short Term Disability (working 20+ hours) - Accident, Critical and Hospital Indemnity Insurance (working 20+ hours) - FSAs and HSA - 403(b) Retirement Plan (with 6% company match after 1 year) - PTO (working 20+ hours) - 10 Holidays (working 20+ hours) - Employee Referral Programs **Direct Support Specialist Principal Accountabilities** - Provides a welcoming, positive, and supportive presence for all residents, demonstrating interest in and availability to residents. - Administers urinalysis and breathalyzer tests to residents as needed. - Answers main door and telephone; monitors residents’ bags and mail for contraband; monitors residents’ breaks taken outside, and monitors outside cameras for suspicious activity - Provides medication monitoring and related documentation; dispenses medications to residents and accurately records; assists the medical case manager in checking in medications and creating Medication Administration Records. - In accordance with established documentation guidelines, documents for each resident in End of Shift Summaries and individualized Daily Notes observations of residents’ attitudes toward treatment and recovery, interactions with peers, compliance with rules and regulations, and other relevant information; completes discharge documents when a resident either voluntarily or involuntarily terminates services. - Performs assigned housekeeping and maintenance activities including serving meals, loading dishwasher/sanitizer, sanitizing high-touch surfaces and participates in the inspection of residents’ rooms for cleanliness and contraband. - Performs informal counseling with residents as needed and documents appropriately. - Ensures that residents are aware of program expectations and scheduling, providing prompts and encouragement to residents who are not following expectations; responsible for discipline and issuing violations if necessary. **Direct Support Specialist Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Certified Recovery Coach or Certified Peer Support Specialist credential preferred but not required. - Valid driver’s license, automobile, and sufficient insurance to meet agen…
