Making sure fluming systems are operated correctly to avoid plug-ups. Maintain raw product flow into evenflow bins. **Job Description** - Guides trucks into unloading positions. - Operates forklift to transport samples to ODA grading area. - Monitors evenflow levels. - Flumes raw product into evenflows by using the HMI program. - Completes CL’s, CIL’s, and FSIL’s for your respective work area. - Enters in defects found in your respective work area. - Unloads trucks, take samples and operate receiving equipment. - Accurately completes forms as required. - Accurately collects and labels raw product samples. - Completes daily sanitation duties. - Maintains a clean receiving area, which will include shoveling, use of high-pressure water hoses, and dumping of raw waste totes. - Inspects raw product for foreign material. - Monitors waste pit water level, waste room hopper levels, and water usage in Receiving. - Performs other duties as assigned **Basic & Preferred Qualifications** - Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred) - High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred - Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements. - Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirement may vary by location). - Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility. - Ability to perform basic math functions, required. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. - Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature - Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies - Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures. - Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment. - Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.
