**TITLE:** Outlet Cashier Trainee (Foley) **DATE WRITTEN:** 08/2025 **DEPARTMENT:** Donated Goods **SUPERVISED BY:** Outlet Assistant Manager, Foley Operations Manager **SUPERVISES:** N/A **STATUS: Temporary – Non Exempt** **Mission Contribution:** Helps with the flow of goods through the outlet store and salvage departments to minimize waste and maximize profits that help to create jobs and fund services to the community. **Function:** Makes customers feel welcomed and appreciated by greeting and accurately ringing sales transactions in a friendly manner. **Essential Functions:** 1. Ensures World Class donor and customer service, answers phone in three rings, greeting customers within 10 seconds and provide friendly service and information, thanking customers at the end of transaction for supporting our mission and invites them back. 2. Acknowledges all customer and employees within a 10-foot radius. 3. Operates cash register, receives payments for purchases and records sales and other transactions. 4. Balances cash drawers at the end of each shift, ensuring no cash discrepancies exceeding $5.00 over or short after one week of training. 5. Encourage customers to donate through the change round up program. 6. Checks and cleans restrooms room at least hourly. 7. Collects and keeps shopping carts stacked and orderly. 8. Follows production guidelines, as assigned. 9. Reaches production guidelines, as assigned. 10. Transfers tables from the back room to the sales floor when working in the warehouse. 11. Rotate tables from sales floor and returns them to the proper place in the warehouse. 12. Ensures a clean and empty workstation at the end of each shift. 13. Pulls and rotates store merchandise as instructed by supervisor or manager. 14. Keeps aisles free from debris in the production and sales floor area. 15. Maintains the image of the sales floor and assists in store housekeeping including daily cleaning of the floor, fixtures, and restrooms, as assigned. 16. Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures. 17. Other duties as assigned. **Skills, knowledge and abilities:** (these are required to enable jobholder to perform the essential functions of the job). 1.
