Accountable for accuracy of all transactions. The ability to display leadership qualities is also an extremely high expectation of this job. **Essential Duties**: · Monitor emails on a frequent basis to respond within four hours to a customer and 24 hours to internal personnel. · On shipping discrepancies, work with shipping to find out the cause and solution for the customer. · Work with Sales Rep and/or Sales Coordinator on urgent delivery issues or line down situations. · Create or revise NAFTA forms as needed. · Schedule trucks via phone, website or email for specific customers · Work with CS Manager and/or Sales Coordinator to determine responsibility of freight premium on past due shipments · Container management – monitor inventory, advise production of xxxxx, route defective containers, and handle customer disputes. · Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with co-workers, employer, customers, and suppliers. · All other duties assigned by Manager. ## Requirements **Education/Certification Requirements**: · High School Education/or GED and/or a combination of experience, training, and education. **Experience & Skill Requirements**: · Ability to use basic math functions, i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. · Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, computer scanning devices. · Understand the interface between materials management functions and other departments. · Ability to organize and maintain order. · Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office and Excel · Excellent communication and customer relations skills · Display professional conduct **Physical Requirements**: This role has minimal physical activity and requires the use of typical office equipment such as a computer, copy machine, laptop and cell phone. May be required to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
